Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
Why study an MBBS at UCLan?
If you are interested in becoming a Doctor, then the University of Central Lancashire's degree in Medicine (MBBS Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) trains international students to become professional, compassionate doctors.
The programme emphasises continuity of care. You’ll enjoy early patient contact from Year 1 and follow ‘your’ patients along primary and secondary care pathways on clinical placements in Years 3 to 5. The programme is delivered by the School of Medicine and Dentistry and teaching is provided by expert staff in the University and our associate local NHS education providers, preparing you for a rewarding career practising medicine.
This programme is for International Students. UK HE fee regulations prevent UK/EU students applying for this programme.
Entry Requirements
Detailed entry requirements for your country of residence can be found here.
There is a lot of interest in the programme for the September 2015 start but we welcome applications from high calibre international students, including Foundation Programme applicants, up to the final deadline of 15th January 2015.
Arrange your free consultation with Cathy Jackson (Associate Dean of Medicine and Head of Medical Education) and Angeline Ward (International Officer) at SI-UK as they visit us for an Open Day on Thursday December 11.
